Our prices start at $300 and go up to $450. Pricing is based on conformation, color and lineage. In accordance with Massachusetts State law our prices include all rabies and distemper vaccinations as well as spaying and neutering. We strongly believe in late altering and will not alter before 14 weeks of age. Price break down for a standard sable: Breeder Prices All ferrets that are sold as breeders are $50 more than the standard pricing. Massachusetts State law requires a person to have a breeders licenses to own intact ferrets. If you intend to purchase an intact ferret you will need to provide us with your license number so that we may check your current status with Massachusetts Fish and Wildlife.
Ferrets of New England Buyer's Agreement
HEALTH To the best of our knowledge, we guarantee that we are selling you a healthy ferret and that the ferret will be free from health problems or defects for 2 weeks. Buyers have seven days from the date purchased to have the ferret examined by a licensed veterinarian(the veterinarian must be qualified to examine exotic animals) , if the veterinarian finds any health condition, the buyer can return the ferret to us within three days accompanied by a letter from your veterinarian stating any health conditions found. At which time we will replace the ferret. If the ferret were to pass away within five months from date of birth we will gladly replace the ferret, if we are given a necropsy report by a licensed vet. The necropsy report must state the nature of the problem as something that the animal had already developed, or was predisposed to while in our care. This does not include accident, negligence, or any treatable or communicable illness/disease, improper diet etc . If you purchase any new animals, they should be quarantined in another room, for no less than two weeks before being exposed to your ferret. This is to prevent any airborne illness or communicable disease that would be spread to your new pet. If the buyer provides an inadequate diet, housing and care than this guarantee is null and void. In accordance with the Massachusetts State law, ferrets will have there rabies and distemper vaccines before leaving our care. Refunds/ Exchanges We believe that when you purchase a ferret as a pet, that you are making a commitment towards the animal that should be taken seriously. This is why we do not offer refunds. We will not refund medical bills, if you can not afford medical care for you ferret you may turn them over to us. If at any time you are no longer able to care for your ferret for whatever reason we will accept the ferret back and will care for it ourselves or place it in a suitable home. We cannot offer any financial compensation for this service. Under No circumstances is the buyer allowed to turn their ferret over to any sort of rescue, shelter, or adoption group. All ferrets purchased from us must be turned over to us if no longer wanted. Buyer is not permitted to purchase a ferret from Ferrets of New England to resell for profit. Breeding In accordance with mass state law all animals leaving this ferretry have be altered before placement in there new home. We strongly believe in late alters and will not alter before 14 weeks of age. Any one wishing to purchase an intact animal has to provide us with a valid breeding license number that we will verify with Massachusetts Fish and Wildlife. It is illegal in the state of Massachusetts to sell, own, or purchase intact ferrets with out a proper license. Housing
The buyer agrees that they have the proper sized housing for their new ferret and if they have more than one, they must have a cage rated for multipliable ferrets. |
